Do Gooder Productions "21/2 Jews" Productions
DO GOODER PRODUCTIONS is an Off-Broadway forum for new plays for the professional stage and produces in partnership with designated charities. Over the past decade, Do Gooder has mounted seven Off-Broadway productions, six of which have been the Off-Broadway debuts for new playwrights. Several of the plays which received their professional debuts with Do Gooder have subsequently been published and received numerous regional and international productions. Do Gooder's year-long production of Alan Brandt's 2 ½ Jews (1998-99) was one of the longest exclusively not-for-profit runs in Off-Broadway history. This season, Do Gooder will produce the Off-Broadway premieres of Karla Jennings' award-winning dark comedy about infertility Dish Babies (with an all-star cast) and Mark Robert Gordon's solo play about Alexander Hamilton "H": Hamilton or Honour.
